The MENU system
The Menu system, on the left, has been developed for ease of navigation through the VPSpro™ system and web site. When you place your mouse over the menu area, an information box will appear to give you information relating to that button. This will help guide you through the site and system.
The buttons will look the same throughout the entire site, however, the name and function will change depending on where you are in the system and which planning system you choose. The button with burgundy print will be the location where you currently are and the buttons with black print will be the areas that you may go to. Simply click on the button that will take you to the correct place in the system.
In the VPSpro™ planning system you will also find an "Item Menu" next to the Main Menu and, at times, a "Sub-Item Menu" at the bottom of the forms input area. These menus are provided to help you easily navigate to any place in the system.
The Forms Area
This center area of the screen is the forms area where you will enter your information and data. A mouse click on blue links, that hi-lite yellow on mouse over, in the center area of the screen the note pad will provide you with more detailed information for completing the form and help guide you through the system. Research the information required and enter or select appropriately.
The NEXT & BACK button
The NEXT & BACK buttons will save information that you have entered, or selected, and will take you step-by-step through the planning software, the free business listing, the business databases and/or the online ad posting system.
The LOGOUT button
The LOGOUT button will save your information and take you to the VPSpro™ start page. When you LOGOUT, the page that you were on will be marked and you will return to that page on LOGIN.
The NOTE button
When you are in the VPSpro™ planning system you will see a NOTE Icon beside the headings, which will allow you to type a note that is linked to the information you are researching and entering at the time. This will allow you to keep track of why you entered information for that specific item, for future reference. You will also be able to append these notes to your business plan when you are writing the narrative portion of your plan. Simply click on the Note button and a pop-up window will allow you to enter and save the note.
The USER FEEDBACK button
The USER FEEDBACK button will allow you to send us a comment. Your comments will be directly related to the page you are on, your geographic location and the specific industry category that you have selected. You simply have to select the USER FEEDBACK button and a pop-up window will allow you to type a message and send it to our support department.
If you have a suggestion for improving the VPSpro™, see a Sponsor Ad that does not meet our strict advertising standards, or detect a problem that we are unaware of, we would appreciate your feedback. If the feedback is something critical to the planning system it will be fixed immediately. Misleading or inappropriate advertising will be deleted from the system right away and those misusing the system will be barred from further submissions. Other comments and suggestions will be reviewed and considered.
The VPSpro™ is designed for you, the user.
The GO button
The GO button will take you to a specific area in the VPSpro™ that is related to the text that the button is beside. example: If you are on the Project Cost main page and you see a GO button beside Land, the GO button will take you to the Land page in the Project Costs section.
When you click on blue text that highlights yellow on mouse-over this floating Click Consultant area will change from a sponsor ad to a note pad containing information related to the word(s) that you select on the page. You will find that in the planning system the Sponsor Ad or Business Advisor is directly related to the specific information required for planning your business. For instance, when you are researching the costs for installing a telephone you will see only Sponsor Advertising or Advisors for suppliers of telephones and telephone services.
If there is no sponsor you will see information about our products and services. In any case, when you click on a link you will find information that will guide you through your research and the planning system. Additionally, the Sponsor Ads that you will see will only be for suppliers and service providers that wish to do business in your location and can provide you with information that is valid for your project.
We do not endorse the Sponsors and Advertisers unless we state otherwise. If you find an Ad that is misleading or inappropriate please let us know by selecting the FEEDBACK button located on every page. We hope that our users will assist us in providing reliable information by providing this feedback.
Research Areas and Information Links
Throughout the VPSpro™ and our site you will see Banners, Advertising, Links and Business Listings. These items are provided to assist you in researching your project and developing your business.
To succeed in business today, entrepreneurs need to develop a network of professional service and product suppliers. That is why we have developed the VPSpro™ to link you to other businesses and professionals that can provide the information and support that you need. This will help develop that all important network in the beginning stages of your business.
You will see a banner at the top of the page, a note pad ad on the right side of the page (rotating with our tips and information), and a research area at the bottom of every page. In addition to the advertising, the Research Area will contain links to information related to the Industry and the Geographic area that you have selected. Development of the research area will be ongoing, as relevant information becomes available to us.
The information and advertising on each page will be directly related to the information that you need to research. We hope you enjoy the convenience of researching your project without having to leave the VPSpro™.
Hyper-Links.
Hyper-links will appear in the same blue color as the Information Links, however, they will dim out on your mouse-over. Hyper-links will open a new browser window and the VPSpro™ will remain open behind the new window.
A text box that is highlighted.
If you see a highlighted text entry box in the forms area it means that you have entered information incorrectly in the forms box. You may have entered a letter where only numbers are allowed or a character, in the field, that is not allowed. Usually you will get a message telling you what the problem is. You will not be allowed to proceed further until you have corrected the error.
Bright Red Text
Bright red text on the screen will represent an important message. Read the message carefully and follow any instruction, that are given.

Click on the READ MORE icon below.
Plan Manager / Return to Plan
You will see "Plan Manager" in the top menu bar when you are logged in to your account and by selecting this at any time you will be taken to the Plan Manager. You will see "Return To Plan" when you have decided to navigate to a different area of the VPSpro™ site such as the Reading Room or the VPSpro™ Guide. By selecting "Return To Plan" you will be returned to where you were when you left your plan.
Rotate Advisor/Sponsor Ad
By selecting this button you will be refreshing the page that you are on, allowing other Advisors or Sponsors in your area to be seen. Use this information to your advantage because these people and organizations can provide you with valuable information as well as products and services that you may require.
Help
When you are logged in to one of your business plans you will find a Help link in the top menu bar. By selecting that link you will be brought back to this page for information on using the VPSpro Online business plan software.
Return to the Business Plan
While you are working on your business plan you can surf to any of the resources on our site without losing your place in the plan. The Return to Plan button will appear as soon as you go to any other area on our site. Once you have finished surfing and found the information that you wanted you simply select the button from the top menu bar and it takes you to the last place you were in your plan.
Plan Manager & Site Menu
The Plan Manager & Site Menu button in the main menu is shown when you are inside one of your plans. This button allows you to return to your business plan manager where you can select or create a new business plan. When you return to the Plan Manager you will also see the Main Menu for our site rather than the Planner Menu that you see while working in a plan. This allows you to surf our site without leaving your account and you can use the Return to Plan button to return at any time.
Return to the Business Plan Manager
This button will bring you back to your plan manager when you are surfing the VPSpro site. This combined with the Return to Plan button will make sure that you can surf all of our resources without losing your place in the system.
